Motorola CLIQ 2 expected to be launched at CES 2011

It's said that Motorola is preparing to release Android-powered Cliq 2 slider Smartphone at CES 2011, some leaked images confirms this rumors.

The new CLIQ 2 aka Begonia will feature a 5 mega pixel camera complete with LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth and a full QWERTY slide out keyboard. There is a further rumor with the device that it will be enabled to do WiFi calling and that there is a new version of MotoBlur complete with a few new widgets.

Take a look at the photos. The thing that will probably grab your attention is the keyboard. Now this could very well just be a mock-up and not the final device, but the keyboard is strange nonetheless. The keys appear to be shaped like pentagons. While this may look weird, we really can’t say anything bad (or good) about it until we actually get to play with it.

It’s still unclear as of now whether or not the device will ship with Froyo 2.2 or Gingerbread 2.3, but here’s hoping for the latter.  Furthermore, there is also speculation that this might be an HSPA+ compatible phone.
Anyway let’s wait till January 6; the day could bring out more info about Motorola Cliq 2, if details comes before that we will let you know.
