T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Smartphone releasing on April 20

RadioSahck has already announced the launch date  of most anticipated Smartphone from T-Mobile the Samsung Sidekick 4G though, consumers were waiting for an official announcement. So T-Mobile announced that the Smasung Sidekick 4G will be available for purchase on April 20.
This new Messaging centric Smartphone is coming with slide-out QWERTY keyboard and features 3.5” display that has a sturdy“pop-tilt” hinge that’s long been a staple amongst previous Sidekicks. powered with 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor also features front-facing VGA camera for video chatting via Qik, and Android 2.2 Froyo, Cloud Text that even allows you to manage your messages from the comforts of your computer. And finally, both the official Twitter and Facebook apps are preloaded to sharpen itself in the social networking category.

Alltel HTC Merge pre-order begins on March 28

Alltel has announced a Pre-order date for HTC Merge, Preo-order will begin on March 28 with a Price Tag of $124.99 on a new two year contract.

HTC Merge is an Android 2.2 Froyo Smartphone  powered with 800MHz Qualcomm processor. The device also features 5-megapixel camera, 3.8-inch touchscreen and 720p HD video recording and HTC Sense UI. HTC Merge has both CDMA and GSM  radios. Specific release date is not available yet but expects launch soon since Pre-order start from March 28.

Windows Phone 7 HTC Arrive is now available from Sprint for $200. The handset is really the same HTC 7 Pro recently released but renamed it for Sprint as HTC Arrive. The price $200 is after rebate when you buy it customary two-year contract.

AT&T LG Thrill 4G and WP7 HTC HD7S announced

AT&T has Today announced HTC HD7S WP7 and LG Thrill 4G with 3D enabled Smartphones, LG Thrill 4G is the first US Smartphone with a glasses-free 4.3-inch stereoscopic 3D display plus 4G speed capability, where as HTC HD 7 S, which is essentially an AT&Tified version of the HD7 that has been on T-Mobile USA for quite some time now.

The  LG Thrill obviously first version of most anticipated LG Optimus 3D and the device is powered with 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP4 chipset and features a glasses-free 4.3" parallax barrier LCD display with 480x800 pixels, two 5MP cameras on the back that allow for stereoscopic stills and video capture. The camera's capable to snagging video clips at 1080p when shooting 2D, or 720p when opting for 3D.

Other features are 8GB of internal memory plus 8GB microSD card, and feature something called "LG 3D Space" - a hub for 3D movies, pictures and game. a YouTube 3D app might also be present on AT&T's handset.


The HTC HD7 S features 4.3-inch WVGA Super LCD, 1GHz CPU, 5-megapixel camera, latest Windows Phone 7 (with copy and paste functionality baked right in) and a preloaded U-Verse Mobile application that enables "qualifying AT&T U-verse customers to download and watch TV shows" that is charged $9.99 extra per month.

According to AT&T the HTC HD 7 S is the first to have an improved Super LCD display. the price of these devices are yet to be announced and according to AT&T these devices will be released coming week and will be available online and retail stores.

Verizon 4G LTE MiFi Hotspots on Rebate List; releasing soon

Verizon is reportedly to launch 3 new 4G MiFi hotspots on its 4G network soon, report says that these Modems are listed on internal rebate list of Verizon.


According to Phonearena, rebates are $50 in amount. These 3 Hotspots will increase the number of 4G hotspots from Verizon to 5. Models of upcoming 4G LTE devices are Novatel MiFi 4510L and Novatel USB551L and Samsung SCH-L11 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot, here first two are designed in the form of USB Sticks whereas Samsung's device is a thin rectangular LTE Modem. All are backwards compatible with Verizon's 3G network, and offer LTE speeds of 5-12 Mbps download, and 2-3 Mbps upload.

It will cost $50 for 5G and $80 for 10GB a month, Verizon's current LTE modems cost $99 on a two-year contract after a $50 online discount, so the price for the three newcomers shouldn't differ much.

Samsung Infuse 4G approved by FCC

One of the Smartphone on AT&T's 4g line up the Samsung Infuse 4G has been approved by FCC, the Infuse 4G promises faster wireless broadband connection on AT&T's HSPA+ network.


This big screen chunk was unveiled last January, even though the device lacks some of the features that Motorola ATRIX 4G and HTC Inspire 4G, it will surely attract many people when it lands.

The device powered with 1.2 GHz single-core Hummingbird processor and running on Android 2.2 Froyo features relatively huge 4.5 inch AMOLED Plus display that keeps it away from other devices out there, 8 megapixel camera on back paired with a 1.3 megapixel shooter up front.

The release date of Samsung Infuse 4G is yet to be announced by AT&T, The Froyo is expected to be upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread shortly after the launch.

HTC Thunderbolt for Verizon releasing on March 17?

Release date of HTC Thunderbolt has been on rumor since it was unveiled at CES 2011, Consumers may have been bored of hearing rumors about the HTC Thunderbolt release date. Unfortunately LTE 4G device has n't yet been released and rumors are still coming out. this time the release date or expectation is coming from the Manufacturers facebook Page but the page never indicates any particular date instead says launch date  "Coming Soon".

Meanwhile  there is an exciting news though not sure true, according to AndroidCommunity, the HTC representative confirmed the launch date on twitter for Thunderbolt. According to Imran Shahid who is reportedly the regional Sales Manager of HTC the new launch date is March 17th, It's expected that the by the time the device is launched all the problems rumored with HTC Thunderbolt since the device was unveiled would be solved and be available as verizon's flagship Smartphone 4G LTE device.

Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 and SGH-i708 Smartphone approved by FCC

Images of two FCC approved Smartphones from Samsung was appeared online, one of them is familiar Android Smartphone the big Samsung Galaxy II i9100, but you can see anothet Image of phone dubbed SDH-i708 I am sorry it's as the Iamge shows Mysterious.


The FCC documents has confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S II would come with AT&T 3G bands-850/1900MHz.
GSMarena guesses that the Mystrious phone approved by FCC could be an edge-to-edge touch-screen device and expected to have support for both WCDMA ( the AT&T 3G band- 850/1900Mhz) and CDMA/EvDo probably on Verizon Networks.

Samsung Galaxy S II is expected to hit the worldwide Market soon, the device was finally unveiled on MWC last month.

Verizon and AT&T announced iPad 2 Sales; offers several Data Plans

                                                                 
Verizon and AT&T announced the availability of iPad 2 and data plans that they offer for iPad 2, both carriers will be selling the Tablet on same day and same time of the launch March 11.

Both companies bring several data plans for iPad 2, you  can read it from the Press releases below.

Customers can choose between AT&T’s prepaid billing options, which are charged to a credit card account, or recently announced postpaid plans that can be added to customers’ existing monthly wireless statements. AT&T to sell Kindle 3G eReader soon


AT&T announced that it will be selling Amazon 3G Kindle eReader soon, in AT&T's history, it's first time the  Company is adding eReader in it catalog. Amazon latest kindle eReader is the best selling product in the History of Amazon, the eReader will set you back $189 same as in the Amazon online store.

"Amazon has without question pioneered the eReader space with Kindle, and it's exciting to not only connect this device through our network, but now offer it in our stores to readers around the country ," said Glenn Lurie, president, emerging devices, AT&T. "As the first dedicated eReader offered in our stores, we are confident the Kindle will be an attractive addition to our in store connected devices lineup."

Kindle offers the largest selection of the most popular books people want to read. The Kindle Store now has more than 810,000 books, including new releases and 107 of 111 New York Times Best Sellers. Over 670,000 of these books are $9.99 or less including 79 New York Times Best Sellers.

AT&T will only sell 3G version of Kindle and if you need WiFi version it's better to look somewhere else. The device is expected to be available from AT&T in March.

WP 7 HTC Trophy Smartphone spotted online with Verizon Logo


HTC's new Handset dubbed HTC Trophy Windows Phone 7 has appeared online, The New Smartphone is expected to be the first Windows Phone 7 to come with a brand name of Verizon. For sure, The image appeared online shows the Verizon Logo.

The STC Trophy is expected to be running on latest version of Windows Phone 7 even with Copy/Paste support. The specification of the Smartphone is expected to be same as HTC Surround that is available on AT&T network though the Trophy could be running on latest version of Windows Phone 7 OS.

Samsung Captivate has Android 2.2 Update


Samsung finally announced the availability of Android 2.2 Froyo for Samsung Galaxy S Captivate for AT&T. the Update is now available for download.

AT&T had released the update early this week but the company pulled it out as it caused some issues, the update brings support for USB tethering, mobile hotspot, enhanced Microsoft exchange, Flash 10.1,  speed and performance optimizations.

HTC Thunderbolt Smartphone to hit Best Buy on February 21; Best Buy Inventory System


Best Buy Inventory system showed the Most awaited Smartphone HTC Thunderbolt, we had reported that the HTC thunderbolt would be available at Best Buy, now it  has been confirmed with this leaked Inventory System document and the date of the launch of Thunderbolt is shown for February 21. But note that it could be stock date and according to other reports, it’s said that the release date of the HTC Thunderbolt would be February 23 or 24.

Users can remain connected to Skype to receive video chat calls at all times over the 4G LTE network.

Equipped with 768 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, the ThunderBolt will run Google's Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) with HTC's Sense overlay. Other features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a digital compass, GPS, a proximity sensor, a G-sensor, and a microSD card slot with an included 32 GB card.

HTC unveiled Facebook Phones HTC Salsa and HTC ChaCha at MWC- to be available via AT&T


HTC finally unveiled its new and Facebook oriented Smartphones, dubbed HTC Salsa and HTC ChaCha are interesting phone with a dedicated Facebook button. The phones were on rumor a few weeks ago and now the Phone have come true.

The HTC ChaCha is a portrait full QWERTY candybar, which is expected to have huge success among youngsters. The Handset is coming with Android 2.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense, so the phone is exciting and can have almost efficiency that gingerbread can give you. The phone also features 2.6 inches display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, the ChaCha hides a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor clocked at 600MHz. Batter will have 7 hours of life on talk and 430 hours on standby mode.

HTC Salsa is also running on Android 2.3 Hingerbread and features 3.4" 320 x 480 pixels LCD touch-screen, 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with 512MB of RAM, 5MP rear camera with flash, and a front-facing cam. Battery will last 9 hours of talk time and 445 hours of Standby.

One of the exciting thing is that you will never be confused whether a content from other page can be shared through facebook as the Button will light up if sharing of the content is possible.

"The Facebook button on HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa is context-aware, gently pulsing with light whenever there is an opportunity to share content or updates through Facebook. With a single press of the button, you can update your status, upload a photo, share a Website, post what song you are listening to, 'check in' to a location and more. For example, you can take a photograph of friends on your phone and upload it instantly to Facebook by simply pressing the button. Or let your friends know what song you're listening to by pressing the button while listening to music on the phone. The track is automatically identified and shared on Facebook."

“we wanted to create the ultimate socially connected phones with mass market appeal” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC, while Henri Moissinac, Facebook’s Head of Mobile Business, added “We have worked closely with HTC for several years on bringing Facebook to their devices and HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa are the next stage.”

Both phones are expected to hit the Market in Q2 2011, and HTC said their "Facebook experience" phones will be exclusive to the carrier so it will be available via AT&T in US.

T-Mobile to launch Samsung Galaxy S 4G on February 23 for $149.99 on Two Year Contract



Finally T-Mobile announced the availability of Samsung Galaxy S 4G through their Twitter page, Android 2.2 Froyo powered Smartphone will hit the market on February 23 on T-Mobile Network.

The Galaxy S will be the first T-Mobile smartphone to support up to 21 mbps if the network delivers it. T-Mobile's other HSPA+ smartphones-the HTC myTouch 4G and the HTC G2-max out at 14.4 mbps.
Apparently the Samsung Galaxy S 4G will be available via T-Mobile retail, online and leading national retailers including RadioShack, Costco, Best Buy, Sams Club, Walmart and Target Mobile.

Samsung Galaxy S 4G features Android 2.2 Froyo, a front-facing camera, 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 16GB memory onboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording. 

T-Mobile also offers data plan from $10 per month for "limited-time", The $10 a month plan includes 200MB of data to use for web browsing, email, downloading apps and viewing videos. 

When the device is available it will set you back $149.99 on two year contract. and seems to be for limited period. so when the device is available try to get it at the first chance if you wish to have one.

AT&T offers Mobile to Any Mobile unlimited Talk Plan

AT&T is offering an unlimited Mobile to Any Mobile talk Plan, AT&T customers qualifying Nation or Family Talk plan that sign up for unlimited messaging, will be able to make unlimited calls to any mobile number regardless of carrier. Calls done under this plan do not count toward your Anytime Minutes.

Current AT&T customers with an unlimited messaging plan can activate their Mobile to Mobile service by heading over to www.att.com/anymobile. On top of the basic mobile bill, unlimited messaging costs $20 per month for individual accounts and $30 on a family plan for most AT&T customers.

White Nexus S to be released soon by Vodafone


Vodafone confirmed that it will be stocking the white Google Nexus S, which is expected to launch in the UK by the end of Q1 2011. Recently, there were news about white Google Nexus S phone and now Vodafone’s website is featuring the snow colored handset. Although, the website does not provide many details except “coming soon” tag.

Sprint's New Dual Screen Kyocera Echo Smartphone unveiled
