Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha confirmed the launching of Both XOOM and ATRIX 4G as well as DROID Bionic. The company's ATRIX 4G with laptop dock for AT&T is one of the most anticipated handsets on the market. And now Motorola Mobility's own Sanjay Jha confirmed that the device will hit shelves at the end of February along with Motorola's 3G-enabled Honeycomb tablet XOOM for Verizon.
The Droid Bionic, which features a dual-core processor, and 4G LTE versions of the Xoom will arrive from Verizon at the end of the second quarter.
According to engadget, an internal Best Buy document pegging the Xoom 3G launch date at Feb. 17, ahead of Jha's target time latest time frame. It's important to note that the 3G-enabled Xooms will be upgradeable to Verizon's snappier 4G LTE network.
Jha said Motorola is weathering the news hit that Verizon, its main Android carrier, would launch the iPhone 4 Feb. 10. Motorola Mobility's earnings forecast is not the brightest one out there as Jha admitted that Verizon's iPhone 4 announcement will hurt Motorola's sales.
