Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc was leaked on a video through a Russian site, the super-slim Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone expected to make its official debut at CES 2011 this week. It was until now known as the Anzu X12. The images are highly reminiscent of what we have seen from this handset so far and the new information confirms the specs we knew.
The first thing worth mentioning is that The XPERIA Arc measures 125 x 63 x 9 mm – and 8.7 mm at its thinnest point – and has a 4.2-inch 854 x 480 multitouch display with mineral glass attractively called the Reality display. Previously rumored as being X.LED (whatever that is), now we learn it uses Sony's BRAVIA Mobile Engine, which does real-time noise reduction, sharpness, color management and contrast enhancement on the picture.
It also features an 8-megapixel camera with Sony’s EXMOR upscaling technology, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, microSD card – with a 16GB card pre-loaded – and an HDMI port. There’s also a 1,500 mAh battery.
We may have a confirmation about the device at Sony Ericsson’s press conference later today, now you check out the video below.
