Verizon confirms 4G LTE Modems will support Mac in February

According to PhoneScoop Verizon has confirmed that the 4G LTE dongles from Verizon will support Mac in February. The two modems, one from LTE and one from Pantech, caused a stir when they launched with support only for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Pantech UML290 owners can bide their time with a workaround, but LG VL600 users will have to wait to get an update from Verizon. Speaking of the LG VL600, owners of this 4G USB modem had a bit of false alarm today when they received an unexpected software updating. But it was only included some performance improvement. So next update surely bring drivers to support Mac with the dongles.
