First Windows Phone 7 Mobile from Acer has reportedly been confirmed by Spokesperson of Acer. and will be launched in September or October 2011
This would coincide with the first major WP update, which, according to some sources, will be named "Windows Phone 7.5". For now, this update is simply known by its internal name, which is said to be Mango, and it will enrich Microsoft's mobile OS with some goodies like multitasking, HTML5 and a browser based on IE9.
At the tail end of last year Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci stated that although the company was focused mainly on Android, Windows Phone 7 devices were being worked on and said that "if we look at Windows Phone 7, today, I think we see the same opportunity you can see on Android in terms of customisation."
If the information is right no doubt that Acer will go head-to-head with Nokia since Nokia is widely anticipate to release WP7 Smartphone in the same period. Anyway more details about the phone is yet to come. At MWC Acer unveiled an exciting Smartphone Acer ICONIA SMART running on Android.
