Finally Android 2.3 Gingerbread update confirmed for HTC Desire, HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire Z and HTC Incredible S, the update will be available in Q2 2011
HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire Z, the original Desire and the Incredible S will get Android 2.3 update soon, according to Spokesperson for HTC, the Update is scheduled for Q2 2011. The Incredible S running on Android 2.2 Froyo started shipping in UK this weekend and is the only Smartphone pre-installed with Android 2.2 Froyo that HTC introduced at MWC 2011.
Whereas The Desire HD and Desire Z — both released in September 2010 — will also be leaping away from Froyo and up to Gingerbread and will be joined by the original Desire, which was announced way back at last year’s MWC. It’s really surprising that HTC Desire, HTC Desire Z and HTC Desire HD users are going to taste the Gingerbread.
