Waiting for Motorola ATRIX 4G? Then just be patient for some weeks also, According to WSJ, Most attractive Smartphone with its innovative Laptop dock has been confirmed to launch on March 6.
Today AT&T said it will begin sales of the Motorola Atrix 4G on March 6 for $199.99 with two-year contract. Pre-order will begin on Feb. 13. AT&T Mobility Chief Executive Ralph de la Vega said the forthcoming Motorola Atrix 4G will be the carrier's leading device in its portfolio.
It’s very notable that the announcement came when the iPhone 4 sale from Verizon almost to begin and started to take pre-order from their present customers, so AT&T doesn’t want their Android lovers to move to iPhone as its launch near.
I think since Verizon pushes iPhone much, it’s a good opportunity to take advantage of Android based one to compete with, Motorola ATRIX 4G is surely right one for that.
The device is as you may know that powered with powerful NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1 GHz processor, and also features as follows:
- 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory
- HSPA+ 4G compatibility with AT&T
- 4 inch qHD display
- 5 MP rear camera with LED flash
- VGA front-facing camera
- Fingerprint scanning security (located on the back of the device)
- Android 2.2 (Froyo) with MotoBlur
- Wi-Fi b/g/n
- Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
- 1930 mAh battery for 9 hours talk time
The phone will be available for $199.99 on two year contract, if you are ready to shell out more money you can have phone and laptop dock for $499.99. I think tht’s good choice as laptop dock separately costs $499.99.
“The carrier was late to Android in part because it wanted to take a "wait and see" approach. When the first round of handsets didn't take off, Android devices took a backseat in the AT&T lineup. "It was version one of a brand new platform," said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president of devices for AT&T's wireless business.
Anyway, would you prefer AT&T ATRIX 4G or Verizon iPhone 4?
