4G….4G…... yet another Android powered device from Samsung for T-Mobile named Galaxy S 4G announced with its specs, and T-Mobile said that the Phone will be the first to handle download speeds of up to 21 megabits per second (mbps).
The device is powered with Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird and features Super AMOLED 4 inch display, 16GB of memory, 5MP rear camera, and a 1650mAh lithium ion battery and A pre-loaded app from Qik powers the phone's Videoconferencing function.. The T-Mobile Galaxy S 4G is also coming with T-Mobile TV pre-installed that lets you watch free content from ABC News NOW, FOX and Sports over 4G. Data plans for the Smartphone will start at $10 a month, said T-Mobile.
Andrew Sherrard senior vice president, product management, T-Mobile USA said, “The Galaxy S 4G pushes the envelope by reaping the benefits of our network’s unprecedented speeds and by offering groundbreaking entertainment experiences,”
“The Galaxy S 4G offers customers Samsung’s core premium product investments to speed, screen and content,” said Omar Khan, chief strategy officer, Samsung Mobile.
Oh sorry, the device is not running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but Android 2.2 Froyo. And the Smartphone is expected to hit the market this month, pricing is still a mystery.
