After Motorola XOOM with Android 3.0 Honeycombe, The Device from LG for T-Mobile named LG G-Slate running on the Same Android 3.0 Honeycomb is the high-end one to come to the future but very near Tablet competition. The device has been on rumor and mystery, though LG confirmed a Honeycomb tablet but kept mum about the name and specs of the device.
Today T-Mobile confirmed almost specs and release date (though not exact) of the anticipated device, The tablet running on Android 3.0 will also feature an 8.9-inch HD 3D display, capable of recording in HD, as well as 3D, there are two rear facing camera with LED Flash capable of recording 1080p that was shown up on a YouTube video day before yesterday. Certainly you need a 3D glass to have an exciting experience of 3D.
The tablet is powered with 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and access to T-Mobile's 4G network, and other specs are 2 MP Front facing camera, HDMI out and Adobe Flash support.
LG Marketing VP Tim O'Brien said "We are excited to introduce the T-Mobile G-Slate by LG, which offers consumers an engaging new way to communicate, entertain and stay connected,"
The Android LG-Slate is scheduled for this spring but no idea about exact date and price; Anyway, I think this is real competitor to Apple iPad with spec wise it is once ahead of iPad. But wait ipad 2 is still yet to come out rumors are swirling over iPad2 but reportedly the Tablet is going to feature just a 1MP camera. What do you think about the LG G-Slate?
