PlayBook 4G and WiFi Price and Release Date revealed

RIM finally stopped teasing with PlayBook 4G and Highly anticipated Tablet from RIM is going to see the Sun light, the PlayBook 4G finally available for pre-order, RIM today announced the availability and price of the device. RIM said that The Tablet will be available in more than 20,000 retail outlets in the US and Canada.


The PlayBook  powered with 1GHz dual-core CPU features 7-inch LCD display with 1024 x 600 screen resolution, BlackBerry® Tablet OS with support for symmetric multiprocessing, Dual 1080p HD cameras for video conferencing and video capture (3MP front and 5MP rear), 1 GB RAM memory.

For connectivity the device has Wi-Fi® (802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth® 2.1+EDR support and GPS. RIM has also announced the availability of WiFi only model whci will be available in three flavor, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage at $499, $599 and $699 respectively.

The 16GB WiFi-only PlayBook is now up for pre-order at Best Buy and is coming to a vast list of other retailers soon. Staples, Office Depot and RadioShack are among the popular US store chains, while AT&T, Sprint and Verizon will also carry the tablet. The WiFi-only tablet has been Scheduled to be available on April 19th!.
