Apple iPad 2 expected to have Dual Core Processor

While companies are preparing Tablets equipped with Dual Core Processor, why Apple shouldn’t?!

According to a research from analyst at Rodman & Renshaw, Ashok Kumar, the Cupertino-based company is preparing to do just that. He said:

“Apple is on track to refresh the iPad by March and iPhone by late summer. A key component upgrade across these platforms will be a dual-core processor featuring a pair of 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 cores.”

Apples must have Tablet with Dual Core processor when Most anticipated Motorola and RIM tablets are rumored with Dual Core processor .

If the rumours are true, multi-tasking will be a breeze on the new iPads. The iOS will have to be re-configured to take full advantage of the processors though and with the Playbook release date also set for March 2011, the battle of the tablets is just hotting up.
