Motorola Android Tablet to be called as DROID XOOM

Motorola reportedly named its forthcoming Android Tablet as DROID XOOM.

The DROID XOOM tablet running on Android Honeycomb
features a dual-core processor under the hood. The front and rear cameras are 2MP and 5MP respectively and the DROID XOOM will come with 32GB of storage pre-loaded with a microSD slot on board to add more. The awful news is that the tablet will not offer 4G LTE service.

A report says that Verizon will be selling an optional LTE modem that will plug in to a PCI express expansion slot found on the tablet. This would make sense because not everyone lives in Verizon’s 4G coverage area (it’s only 38 markets) and most people will not want to pay the $50-80 monthly fee for 4G data.

However, Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything mentioned above, these all goes on rumors; we will have to wait at least till January 6th to know more about the Device. And we will be updating reports with new feed.
