Now you can have iPhone 3G from AT&T for just $49 on two year contract.
An AT&T spokesperson just announced that the company will begin to sell the Apple iPhone 3GS (8GB) for a slashed down price of $49 [less $50] January 7 onwards, 2011. On catch with the 3GS pricing, according to the details given from AT&T, the $49 price tag will be in effect with AT&T online as well as at the “more than 2,200 AT&T retail locations nationwide and through AT&T business channels.”
The carrier is cleaning inventory in the expectations for a barrage of 20 high-speed web devices to hit its portfolio this year, and/or trying to lockup more contract customers before the rumored loss of iPhone exclusivity.

The iPhone 3GS was released by Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple Inc. in 2009 and had been sold for $99 by AT&T and Apple since the release of the iPhone 4 last June. It can use the same iOS4 software as the iPhone 4. Are you going to have one or only needs 4G?
