HTC has been on rumor with its forthcoming Tablet HTC Flyer, there have been many speculations with this tablet, one of them is that the tablet is based on Android 3.0 Honeycomb. But According to new reports, The HTC Flyer will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and expected to ship on Q1 2011.
Interestingly this will make a great challenge to Samsung Galaxy Tab with Same 7 inch but with something new OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread, though not Honeycomb. HTC Flyer will feature 7-inch 1024 x 600 capacitive touch-screen, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 chip, 5MP camera, 1GB of RAM, and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for Video calling. The ‘Flyer’ will have HSPA support as well as HDMI and DLNA for wireless streaming.
Reports also indicate that the tablet will also feature HTC Sense UI that is expected to increase the usability better with bigger screen on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Anyway, these all are rumors and no confirmation has come out from HTC. We have to wait for more info; of course we will let you know when there is more on the Device so keep in touch with us.
