TOYOTA Vehicle Recall; 1.7 Million Globally and 245,000 in U.S



Motor giant TOYOTA a leading Vehicle manufacturer has decided to recall vehicles around the world, when they recall vehicles from market it is really shame but what to do when there is problem with vehicles released around the world, better thing is to recall the vehicles to save the face and replace it with another cars or repair with good performance.

According to reports the TOYOTA is recalling nearly 1.7 million cars around the world released recently due to fuel leakage. According to BBC, TOYOTA is recalling About 1.2 million models in Japan and 421,000 overseas, including 15,500 Avensis and 3,100 Lexus models in the UK.

In America the company would be recalling about 245000 Lexus models, including GS300/350 2006 and 2007 made, IS250s models between 2006 and 2009 made, and Lexus IS350 models manufactured between 2006 and 2008. The company would notify the owners of the relevant vehicles by post.

The latest recall will cost Toyota about 20 billion yen ($240 million), and that won't hurt its earnings performance by much. Said, Koji Endo, auto analyst with Advanced Research Japan Co. in Tokyo

"But there is that perception of here we go again, and that hurts Toyota's image, especially in North America," he said.

Toyota UK's managing director Jon Williams said that “We will liaise with our customers to carry out the repair procedures as efficiently as possible, with minimal disruption,"
