LG is very aggressive, even before the start of the MWC, LG announced it new tablets and Droid Smartphones, today LG announced stereoscopic 3D Smartphone and a Optimus Pad Tablet.
The Smartphone LG Optimus 3D is powered with 1GHz dual-core OMAP4 processor. It can capture stereoscopic 3D images and videos, display them on a glasses-free 3D 4.3” display and share the content over HDMI or DLNA.
LG Optimus Pad Tablet is also stereoscopic 3D, it’s already out as the T-Mobile G-Slate, but the Optimus Pad will be the variant for non-US markets.
The tablet is an 8.9” Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet powered by a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 chipset. The screen has 1280x768 pixels resolution and while it can display 3D content, it requires you to wear anaglyph glasses to do it. The tablet has two cameras on rear side that can capture 3D images and FullHD video, The LG Optimus Pad also has an HDMI port to display 1080p content on 3D-capable displays.
Another one is LG Optimus Black, publicized one of the thinnest phones with a new type of display - NOVA technology; interestingly there have already been two million pre-orders in 20 countries.
Finally LG Optimus 2X, the Optimus 2X promises to be one of the biggest steps forward in the mobile phone industry. The fancy camera with Full HD video recording alone is enough to bring any handset into the limelight.
The LG Optimus 2X is running on Android 2.2 Froyo features 4.0" 16M-color capacitive IPS LCD touchscreen of WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels), Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor, ULP GeForce GPU, Tegra 2 chipset, 8 MP autofocus camera with LED flash and geotagging with 1080p video recording @ 24fps, 720p@30fps, 1.3 MP front-facing camera with videocalls, 8GB internal storage and microSDslot for up to 32GB cards, 512 MB RAM.
For Connectivity there is Wi-Fi b/g/n and DLNA, 10.2 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, Quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G support and stereo Bluetooth v2.1. Certainly the Smartphone support full Adobe Flash 10.1, and also features microUSB port (charging), Smart dialing, voice dialing, DivX/XviD video support, Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement.
